Hi, so i've constantly had so many issues with my weight and i am so ready for change, please give me your best advice! I need to be thinner!!!
Think positive! Everytime you feel like eating something you know you’ll regret later just think. If I don’t eat this and instead have this(something healthier) then I can feel confident in a bikini this summer. Everytime you work out and you feel too lazy to try hard just think. I’ll look kick ass if I just push myself.
Just think. All you need to do is just put a lot of effort and hard work into it once and then all you need is a little bit of maintaining it. But when you work to lose weight you should be changing your lifestyle so that when you do reach that goal weight of yours, you can stay it.
Eat something small for breakfast, but filling. Maybe oatmeal or some eggs.
Lunch - Consider something like a sandwich on whole wheat bread.
Dinner - Nothing fried! So instead eat some baked chicken, smoked salmon, and toss some vegetables onto the side! I love broccoli if I add a lot of lemon to it. So theres a meal. Also asparagus. Stay away from tomatoes for a bit. Instead eat green vegetables.
Try to drink 8 cups of water a day. Before you eat. Drink a glass of water, wait 5 minutes, and then if your still hungry go look for something to eat. A lot of the time our body mistakes thirst for hunger.
When you eat, try to take small bites and chew a bit slower. When we eat regularly we tend to keep eating even though our body is full. Our brain however sends the message that your full, after you’ve already over eaten. So to avoid it, eat slowly and take smaller bites, this’ll give your brain time to decide if your full or not.
Work out for at least 15 minutes a day! It doesn’t matter what you do. Run, walk, hula hoop, leg lifts, sit ups, swim, jump rope. You can youtube some exercise videos, buy a workout dvd (maybe Jillian Michaels), if you can, then go to the gym or workout at home if you have a treadmill or bike etc.
Switch up your workout everyday a bit. So your body doesn’t get used to it and stop responding.
Give yourself a rest day in between workouts! Your body deserves a rest =)
Eat berries when you want to snack. They help you lose weight.
Eat celery (I personally don’t like it plain, and if you can only eat it with a dip then try to avoid it.) Celery has so little calories that you burn more calories chewing it then eating. So basically you burn calories but feel full and it gets rid of your urge to snack.
Have 1 binge day a week! Go ahead and eat something yummy. Maybe have a slice of pizza or candy. Whatever your secret indulgence is. It’ll jumpstart your metabolism after working hard all week, and it’ll keep you from going crazy for eating so healthy.
